As a part-time employee you will be required to work alone or in teams, with direction and coaching from your managing supervisor. Work includes mechanical, along with electrical and plumbing repairs, and new component installations. You will be working onboard vessels ranging in size from approximately 30-100 feet. You will need a vehicle and/or reliable method of transportation to get to the job site located in Stanley Park, Vancouver. Part-time hours are Monday – Sunday, 25 hours/week. There is a strict no smoking policy on the yachts and docks. Part-time positions are available depending on demand status from May - September. We offer competitve wages, based on experience.
If you are currently enrolled in part-time or full-time education to obtain your marine technician ticket, we are interested in hearing from you. Apprenticeship training is available.
Experience working onboard power yachts and sail boats is an asset, but not necessary if you posses adequate mechanical knowledge. Cleanliness is mandatory when working on vessels.
